About
Two decades of making brands impossible to miss.
I started in traditional advertising: radio, TV, and print. Then I ran digital marketing for an agency, and somewhere along the way fell down the crypto rabbit hole and never climbed out. Now I spend my days making Web3 projects understandable and my evenings experimenting with whatever AI tool shipped that week.
Justin PinterAI creative • Web3 growth • marketing leadership
The guy who does the strategy and the work.
Most teams split this job three ways: someone talks to the client, someone writes the strategy, someone makes the creative. I've done all three at once for years, which means nothing gets lost in translation between the pitch, the plan, and the thing that actually ships.
Off the clock
Spokane-based husband and dad, plus a French bulldog who is fully convinced he's the one running the household. Weekends are for family, usually some combination of kid logistics, dog negotiations, and pretending I'm not thinking about a project that's halfway built.
I love to cook, and my wife and I are serious foodies: Italian, Mexican, Thai, Korean BBQ, Mediterranean, and pretty much anything we haven't tried yet. Half the fun of traveling is eating our way through a new place and then trying to recreate the best of it back home.
Favorite escape hatches: Maui for the water, Leavenworth for the Christmas lights and strudel, West Glacier for the kind of silence you can't fake with a screensaver, and Disney World, where I've memorized the Lightning Lane geometry like it's a strategy game.
What fuels the creativity
Retro games and strategy sims, the worlds of Dune and Middle-earth, theology books, gadget reviews I definitely didn't need to watch, and a genuine fascination with where AI creative tools are heading. I grew up on Calvin & Hobbes and The Far Side, which probably explains my taste for big ideas smuggled inside something that makes you laugh.
The gaming shelf: Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword (still the GOAT Civ), StarCraft (Brood War muscle memory never dies), League of Legends, Crusader Kings III, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, and Final Fantasy VII (original, Remake, and Rebirth). If it builds an empire or tells a story with a great villain, I've probably lost sleep over it.
The music taste gives people whiplash: Vivaldi into AC/DC into Tupac into Deadmau5, often in the same hour. I've made peace with it.
The career so far
Nearly two decades in marketing: traditional ads → agency digital director (SEO, paid media, client strategy) → Account Executive at Lunar Digital Assets, running campaigns and AI media for blockchain clients like LitVM, Luxxfolio, Polygon, Quickswap, Dogechain, KalqiX, and AmericanFortress.
Before Web3, I ran digital marketing for Propaganda Creative in Spokane, managing 26+ clients across hospitality, healthcare, public health, cannabis retail, and e-commerce.
Day-to-day tools: Adobe Creative Suite, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, Mailchimp, Kling, Seedance, Midjourney, Suno and a growing stack of AI agent workflows (Hermes, OpenClaw, Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, Qwen, Kimi, DeepSeek). I don't just talk strategy. I'm in the tools building.
Why teams keep me around
I close the gap between "great idea" and "shipped campaign." I clarify what actually matters, frame the story, make the asset, then turn it into the next pitch, post, or client win.
The operating style: I run kickoffs that produce outcomes, not a deck that gathers dust. I keep scope honest. If something isn't moving the needle, I cut it and say why. I work in the same doc as the creative team, not above them. I present to clients in plain English, no marketing bingo, take my own notes, and follow up the same day. People trust me because I show up in their Slack, answer the dumb questions, and never hand off the hard part to someone below me.
