Case Study · AI Character Content · Web3

70M+ views from one GIPHY channel.

Client
LitVM (Litecoin ecosystem)
Scope
AI video, character design, channel strategy, GIPHY optimization

The challenge

LitVM is a Litecoin-ecosystem protocol: technically interesting, hard to explain, and competing for attention against every meme coin on the internet. Traditional protocol marketing (threads, infographics, AMAs) reaches people already in the bubble. The brand needed a way into everyday conversations.

The approach

GIFs are the one format that travels beyond your own audience: people search GIPHY inside iMessage, Slack, Discord, and X and share what they find. I built Lester, a character with a personality worth quoting, then produced a steady pipeline of reaction GIFs, parodies, and loops tuned to what people actually search: gm, bullish, lets go, laser eyes. Every loop is AI-produced end to end (video models, image models, sound) under one accountable owner, so the channel could ship new content at a pace and cost a conventional production schedule could not match.

System

How the channel ran

  1. Search-led conceptsLoops are planned around phrases people actually type into GIPHY: gm, bullish, lets go, laser eyes.
  2. Source framesImage models and photo editing build Lester's frames, then upscaling before any motion.
  3. MotionAI video models animate the frames into short loops, trimmed and timed for GIF-length attention spans.
  4. Publish and tagUploaded to the LitVM channel with tags matched to real search phrases, so the loops surface inside iMessage, Slack, Discord, and X keyboards.

FAQ

About this project

What is the LitVM GIPHY case study about?

How Justin Pinter built the LitVM Litecoin-ecosystem brand into an AI character content channel on GIPHY that earned 70M+ total views, including 8M views in a single 30-day stretch, on an AI-native pipeline.

How did the Lester character help LitVM get discovered?

GIFs travel beyond a brand's own audience because people search GIPHY inside iMessage, Slack, Discord, and X. Lester, an AI-produced character with a personality worth quoting, gave LitVM a steady pipeline of reaction GIFs, parodies, and loops tuned to real search terms like gm, bullish, lets go, and laser eyes.

Who produced the LitVM AI character content?

Justin Pinter led production end to end as the one accountable owner at Lunar Digital Assets, on an AI-native pipeline of video models, image models, and sound. The same system now runs through the team behind Monolith.

Is this project still active?

This was career work at Lunar Digital Assets, not a Monolith client engagement. Work of this kind now runs through Monolith, the agency Justin founded; Monolith's own write-up covers the production system behind it.
